The Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition returned to Kendal this week after a 3-year absence. This is a fantastic competition run by two national institutions – The Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide – and the exhibition at Kendal Museum features entries from the 2011 competition and includes stunning photographs from one of the most prestigious competitions of its kind.
Kendal Museum is normally free to enter but, due to the prestigious nature of this competition, a £3 charge will apply for entry for adults and senior citizens whilst the exhibition is on. It runs until 17th November 2012.
The latest entry in our guestbook reads:
“We entered the apartment. Ten seconds later my wife turned to me and said, “Thank you for finding this place!” As I’m only rarely in my wife’s good books, I’d like to thank you, Paul and Becky…”

The latest entry in our guestbook reads:
“We knew how beautiful the Lake and the Dales are – as we have visited many times. We know about the ups and downs of the weather which only served to make the area so beautiful. BUT we did not know what to expect from the apartment – and it exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful in every detail.”
